Sharper Iron Men’s Fellowship
The Sharper Iron Men’s Fellowship has as its primary goal the training of men. As Paul teaches we are to intrust to faithful and able men the gospel of Jesus Christ so that they in turn will teach it to others. We do this by training the men how to study the Bible for themselves and how to teach short lessons from an assigned text. Each week a few men get to put their newly developed skills to the test. So, whether the men will be teaching around the dinner table or behind a pulpit the Sharper Iron Men’s Fellowship is an integral part of Covenant's mission to the men of our congregation.
In addition to teacher training Covenant desires to cultivate fellowship between the men of the church. This is accomplished partly by a quarterly retreat where the men gather for fishing and food. The night usually culminates around a campfire where the men discuss headship, fathering and other crucial issues for Christian men.
